Afsat Communications Kenya Limited (ACKL) is a subsidiary of Afsat Communications Limited. It was incorporated in 1994. In 1995 Afsat Kenya submitted its application for a VSAT network operators license, this application was to remain on file until 2002 when Afsat Kenya was gazetted as a National VSAT network operator.

ACKL provides services to the Kenyan market through its distributor network of ISP’s such as Callkey and Virtualsat.

Our solutions have been deployed across Kenya including remote towns like Lokichogio, Mandera, Lamu, Homa Bay, Garissa, Dadaab, Wajir and Namanga but also has a large number of VSATs in Nairobi. There are over 485 iWay VSAT terminals currently deployed are in Kenya.

Our team in Kenya comprises of experienced and highly trained local and International personnel who provide technical and customer support services at service levels equal to that of equivalent operators in Europe. We continuously provide ongoing training for our staff to ensure that we continue to meet the highest standards in the industry.
