  • This is not true for internet access. The iWay™ solution has a round trip to the internet and back of 700 milliseconds. All requests and acknowledgements are executed within this period. As a point of reference, the blink of an eye happens in 300 milliseconds. Where the latency does play a role is when one is using the link for sophisticated integrated enterprise resource tools such as ERPs running on highly demanding and low latency allowance databases. For these clients, a proper needs analysis is important to ascertain what the customer’s requirements are in order to develop a network solution suitable to their applications.
